Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on April 16 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish as well as English heritage is also her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. They lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. After she turned 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting profession. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her goals were realized after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
