Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is an incredibly popular and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American musician and singer. She entered the music industry as a young girl, having won local competitions at 10, before recording for the first time at 14. The year 1987 was when she dropped her debut solo album following being signed to Rounder Records. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
